WELCOME!

This is the Information and Communication Webpage for the U.S. Territorial Battalion Civil War Reenactment Program. Our organization provides field organization, drill, and transportation assistance to our member units the bulk of which are educational or social based university and high school programs. By pooling resources and drawing on the high number of volunteers availible in the student population our unit fields high numbers of appropriately aged reenactors for Living History and Reenactment events.
Often portraying the attitudes and behaviors of younger and even green recruits when the historic event requires such an impression our battalion still retains a very well seasoned team of officers and “mentors” within our ranks. These traditional reenactor volunteers take this title seriously and work to train these new young hobbyists in the craft of living history as well as the day to day tips on campaigning from one’s knapsack. Such exchange is at the core of what this organization is all about. The 150th anniversary cycle of events for the American Civil War offers an excellent opportunity to properly portray troops of younger ages enduring the hardship of the conflict while training a new generation of living historians and interrupters.
Thank You for visiting our website today and we look forward to seeing you at an event in the future.
